Security Best Practices
Keep your CCTools account secure with these recommended practices.

Password Security
Use a strong, unique password for your CCTools account. We recommend:
- At least 12 characters
- Mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
- Don't reuse passwords from other sites
- Use a password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, etc.)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
CCTools supports 2FA for extra account security:
- Email 2FA — Receive a verification code via email on login
- TOTP — Use an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
We strongly recommend enabling 2FA in Settings > Security.
General Tips
- Never share your account credentials with anyone
- CCTools will never ask for your password via email or DM
- Be wary of phishing sites — always check the URL is cctools.network
- Report suspicious activity via the contact form at cctools.network/contact
